Deadline Extended!!!
Sarsfield Credit Union Ltd is proud to launch the “Pat Woods Student Bursary Award Scheme” in 2025 in memory of the late Pat Woods. Pat was a volunteer for this Credit Union since 2007. He worked tirelessly to help, grow and develop the Credit Union and was passionate about its ethos to support and improve the lives of its members and the community at large. He was a Director and former Chairperson of the Board and a former Secretary of the Board Oversight Committee. A proud Family and Limerick man, he saw the potential in everyone and strongly believed in the benefits of education and the opportunities that it presented to help people of all ages improve their lives.
This bursary initiative is designed to ease the financial pressure of college life, with three €2,000 bursaries available for students in our local community. We believe in investing in the next generation and supporting education is a key part of that mission. These bursaries are about more than funding; they’re about helping young people achieve their potential and build a brighter future.
